Six Nations and Netflix have confirmed the recommission of Six Nations: Full Contact for a second series following the huge success of season one.
Produced by Box To Box Films, the award-winning producers of groundbreaking international hit series Formula 1: Drive to Survive, the second instalment of Six Nations: Full Contact will once again go behind the scenes to offer fans an intimate view of Europe’s six international unions as they battle it out in the 2024 men’s Guinness Six Nations and promises to delve deeper into the game as well as the lives of the players and coaches.
This year’s Championship has already delivered some enthralling contests on the pitch and has been packed with memorable moments and plenty of last-minute drama that will captivate audiences in season two: England’s upset of reigning Grand Slam Champions Ireland as they won with a last play of the game drop-goal; Italy’s first home victory in 11 years coming off the back of an emotional draw against France; and Scotland’s defence of the Calcutta Cup.
The match day action is captured not only from every angle on the field, but from the inner sanctum of the changing rooms and coaches’ boxes, as well as seen and heard through family and friends, mic’d up in the stands.
Camera crews from production company, Box To Box, have been embedded with the unions since January, documenting the physical, mental and emotional preparation the players and coaches go through to compete in the World’s Greatest Annual Rugby Championship. Season two promises to take viewers deeper into the players lives, showcasing them like never before, with cameras following them on and off the field, capturing the moments that matter at training and at home with family and friends.
As the teams and players compete to be recognised as the greatest team in the Northern Hemisphere, fans will be offered further insight into the confrontation, contest and combat within the game of rugby as teams return to international action for the first time since the 2023 Rugby World Cup, held in France.

The second series of Six Nations: Full Contact will launch on Netflix in 2025.
